Galvanized Rigid Steel Conduit
Providence RIGID is manufactured from high-strength steel, produced by the electric resistance welding process. The finished conduit is uniform in OD size, wall thickness, a defect free interior surface and smoothly welded seams. RIGID is produced using an inline galvanizing process. It is hot-dipped galvanized inside and outside, so that metal to metal contact and galvanic protection against corrosion are provided. Additionally, it is top-coated with a compatible organic layer to inhibit white rust and increase corrosion resistance.
Advantage of steel conduit: Impact resistant, easy to recycle, protection from fire and mechanical force, and full grounding capabilities (Disclaimer: always refer to local codes).
Electrical Metal Tubing
Providence EMT starts with high quality hot or cold rolled steel. The steel is then slit to width, rolled, and then welded by the electric resistance welding process. This process provides a finished tube that is uniform in outside diameter, inside diameter and wall thickness. The interior surface of our conduit is free from defect with a clean ID Flash.
Our conduit has a uniform zinc coating both outside and inside, ensuring metal to metal contact and galvanic protection against corrosion. The exterior is protected by a clear water based coating, and the interior surface is coated with galvanizing to provide longer life cycle & smooth continuous raceways for easy and fast wire pulling.
RIGID AND EMT ELBOWS
Providence Pipe Products line of EMT and Rigid Elbows feature low conductivity, and high corrosion resistance. Being that they are made of hot dip galvanized steel, PPP ensures that both the interior and exterior of these products are defect free. Available in three bend degrees, 90°, 45° and 22.5°.
